It's my understanding that Rick Hendricks dealerships got them. And it's only available with a six speed manual and other specific options.

Camaro Cave tonight said it is both auto and manual. Allocation is an allocation - dealers get what they get. No options, etc.

According to the information posted by GearheadSS in this thread, all 56 cars will be identical. All M6 no sunroof coupes with the same options.

NGL, I'd take this edition over the Panther edition, but I loved everything about the race entry. But one could just get a wrap put on their existing ZL1 with some exterior aero adds and get a better look, not that it would hold the same value as these editions.

I agree with you. I'd take the Garage 56 Edition all day over the CE Panther ZL1. Value wise the CE is probably the choice if you plan to hold on to it, but I like the looks of the 56 a lot more.

I just wouldn't want to pay what it costs to purchase either of them.

Based on the 2 we did find, and the gap in VIN #'s, my $ is on that all 56 are already built, but aren't being made available to the general public, (or at least not yet), just like I think we've seen the last of the ZL1 CEs (1st/last going to GM) and they buried the remaining ones we can't find as giveaways, etc not available for sale, perhaps because they're likely using the wholesale pricing on them for record keeping, but don't want those numbers made public.
