Cooler (Radiators) differences to "regular" SS?

Can anyone confirm that SS 1LE has a different coolers setup than say a "regular" non-1LE manual SS ?

What about the Auto SS ? Any different coolers / coolers' setup?

I think the cooling system is identical between the SS and the SS 1LE apart from one component, the 1LE has an additional cooler for the e-diff.

No idea on the main radiator but they also have a cooler for the manual transmission, a 12 quart oil pan in addition to the differential cooler.

OK, the reason I am asking, is because of Procharger kit installation thoughts. It would probably be necessary in the 1LE's case to make extra room for the Intercooler's charge pipes that are being routed along that area. Something which is not necessary with the "regular" non-1LE SS
Would be interesting to know from people who installed a PC kit in the SS 1LE
Was it necessary to cut / remove additional parts to make room for the charge pipes?

This. So if the procharger kit is designed to fit an SS then it will fit the SS 1LE the same way. Both have one main center radiator and two side radiators.

Thanks for this information friends - This will help me with my planning. Interesting that one of the workshops told me that one of the reasons that he disliked the Procharger kits, especially for the 1LE SS case, is, that it requires the removal of one of the coolers in order to properly route the Intercooler pipes... interesting. Maybe he confused it with the 5th Gen SS 1LE ?

Believe the workshop is correct, the driver side aux radiator has to come out with Procharger kit.

The same radiator would have to come out on the regular SS too

And it remains out??
Aux radiator has its important reasons to remain in tact I guess??

I would not think it would be a good idea to simply delete such radiator - especially in hot climates (I.E. FL, TX, NV, AZ...Etc...)

Probably not a big deal unless your a frequent track day rat, frankly. The LT1 version only has the one main radiator from the factory, and there’s a few people who have deleted the two aux radiators for their street/strip car with no issue.

Good to know. I guess that a company like ATI would not risk harming the engine by directive of AUX radiator deletion. Interesting to get some feedback from people who have been driving without the AUX radiator/s on their ATI PC setups

5th Gen SS’s all had the same radiator an aux coolers.
ZL1 had a inter cooler
Z28 one radiator with/out AC but did have a diff cooler.
