Rain with the potential for hail most of the week here.


When there is even the HINT of hail she doesn’t come out of the garage. Our ‘17 Jeep GC got hail damage recently.

No for some reason the vinyl was not on the car when I purchased it. I bought it used in Sarasota Fl in December last year. Don't know why, but Im not a fan of stickers.

I am not a detailer I just take care of my cars. So to all that we’re not on here when I got my camaro. It’s a fifty and the build sheet I got form General Motors states do. I don’t know when the orange stripe are missing. But they are and I’m ok with that. I know it’s a gm thing to use the stickers. Me I believe the stripes should be painted but gm in a cost saving measure went with tape go figure.

I remember now that you got your FIFTY with the vinyl removed. It's been awhile. I'm like you, I don't like "stickers". If they were easily taken off and reapplied, I wouldn't run them either. I'd just keep them put up, like I do my wheels.

Since they are "one time use", I'll keep them on. Maybe in the future I will buy a complete extra set for safe keeping, remove these, and have an aftermarket hood and blade spoiler on the car.

Yeah, insurance covers after deductible. Glad it wasn’t the F1FTY. (Whew!)

I don’t remember if it was someone here or on the Book of Faces that had their stripes repainted with a 3D-ish effect on at least their hood (not sure about the trunk). Looked really cool.

Got some seat time today. Granted it was to work and back, but still....

(Unfortunately she’s pretty dirty and there’s rain forecast for the rest of the week and possibly the weekend. )

It has literally rained every day this month, until yesterday.
I finally got the Fifty out to get a few pics with the smoked lighting.
I got GM tails and center lights from Wildhammer, and the side markers from JWM.
Matt had Wildhammer offered great service. Very happy.
The JWM side markers are almost invisible with the NFG paint. When lit they are a thin bright line of led....really nuts how good it looks.
I know most of you already did all this.... but thought I’d share.

Love this look on our cars. Congrats on the upgrades! And yes it’s rained a ton here as well. It’s car season not boat season lol.
