2019 so polarizing that GM didn’t change the ZL1 front fascia

https://www.autoblog.com/2018/07/12/...l1-spy-photos/

I got s nice little chuckle out of this one.

Didn't change the ZL1 front end after the refresh on the 5th gen either. Nothing to do with it being polarizing.

We saw what “polarizing” means. A new word for ugly. No, thank you!

I read somewhere that they didn't change it because they spent so much money perfecting the aero characteristics of it.

makes sense why they didn't change it purely from a financial standpoint.

GM announced when they came out with the refresh that the front of the zl1 would remain unchanged as it went through too much development to perfect the aero and cooling of the car. we knew it wasn't going to change, regardless of love/hate for the refresh.

This. They didn't change it then because the front bumper of the ZL1 is designed for max air flow for cooling. Most likely why they didn't change it this time as well.
