UPDATE: Annoying noise coming from my car only when the AC is on.
UPDATE: After playing with my vehicle for a few weeks after this original post, I found today on my way home from work that, the sound you hear in the sounds that only happens when the AC is on and the heat is on a after playing with my vehicle for a few weeks after this original post, I found today on my way home from work that, the sound you hear in the sound clip only happens when the AC is on. When the heat is on you don’t hear the sound at all. And when they AC or heat is off completely you don’t hear the sound. It’s going to the dealer tomorrow for a second oil change, I’m gonna ask them about it and see what’s going on I honestly have no idea I am completely baffled has any of you guys had the sound or had this issue? I don’t even know where to start I’m a computer guy no it’s going to the dealer tomorrow for a second oil change, I’m gonna ask him about it and see what’s going on I honestly have no idea I am completely baffled has any of you guys had this sound or had this issue? I don’t even know where to start looking at. This car has been bulletproof up until the Torque converter and this issue....
Hi guys I swear its been a interesting time with the weirdest issues. So, I do not know if this problem has been going on for. I noticed it a few weeks ago thinking maybe its a rock in my tire or something on that nature. Although, It hasn't went away. I looked under my car looking for loose parts anywhere. Couldn't find anything, all looks nicely put together. So I am baffled. I know if I go to the dealership they will say, "we do not notice anything". It only happens when you're at highway speeds. 45-70. I think it could be these yellow tags? My optimistic mind is thinking those aren't suppose to be there. and I should clip them. But my rational mind is thinking "a tag really?" Has anyone heard the sound on their car or any car? Its annoying. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BUD...ew?usp=sharing Last edited by ItsChristianInHD; 06-26-2018 at 06:41 PM. Reason: Update! |

Do you have dual mode exhaust? You could have the exhaust rattle. It's a known issue.

Nope I have the standard exhaust sadly. I’m flabbergasted. Have no clue what could be the issue.

It must be because your car is short two cylinders. LOL. That's what V8 owners are probably thinking. But I have the same cylinder issue and no known mysterious sounds.

Hahaha that made me laugh! I would have gotten a V8 but I’m still in Ohio, and I need a car to drive all year round. When I move south I’ll have an SS.

If you think it is those tags, get some blue painters tape, and wrap them up around the bar and see if the problem goes away. If it does, cut them off.

Sounds like it could definitely be those tags! I had a car where the tag on the seatbelt made such a racket it was driving me crazy! Snipped the tag off the seatbelt and boom! Sanity restored!

I’m honestly thinking it could be those! And that’s funny hahaha. All because of a tag.
