Hey guys just joined and will be in the market for a Camaro in roughly a month (waiting for a divorce to be finalized). I will be looking for a 2010-13 SS manual, already have a list of mods I want to do! Look forward to getting to know all of you! If you have any pointers to look for on these cars it'd be appreciated!

You may be looking for a Camaro after your divorce...Really that's a bit much info but if you don't mind putting your personal business on a forum of this sort then so be...Hope all goes well and there are plenty of great Camaro's in the year models that you'll be searching...Welcome aboard...

2010's, if your into collecting cars, these vins will tell you the production number.

2011's, same as above, but I believe they did away with the vin production number. 1st year of the convertibles

2012's, new suspension upgrade, new dash with leather inserts, new steering wheel. ZL1 is introduced (ZL1 is the only Camaro with Electric power steering.) Also the 45th anniversary are introduced.

2013's, same as 12's, but now all have hill assist, all have Electric power steering. The gage sweep has been removed, touch screen radio, frameless rear view mirror. 1st year the 1LE is introduced. Hot Wheels Special Edition

2014-15's, New front and rear end's are introduced. Also, the Z/28 is introduced

If your asking me, the 2012's have the best of both worlds.

Sorry to hear about the divorce, but welcome and happy hunting!

Personally it was always an aqua blue metallic Camaro for me and they were only early production 2010's. However, if I was buying another, in addition to my ABM, it would probably by a 2013. It has all of the suspension upgrades and MyLink which is a much needed improvement over the original radio. Of course if I had my choice, it would be a '13 ZL1 even though the Z/28's are incredible, I just don't care for the taillights and rear facia of the 14-15's.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

Ah yes, divorce. Mine was the reason I bought my Camaro. New found freedom, new car and lots of dating new chicks who loved the car! Enjoy!

And one word of advice from one divorced man to another - don't jump back into the marriage water too quickly. Enjoy the freedom for a while.

Hud debuted 2012 standard on the 2SS and RS packages I believe.
