Camaro - An international Brand

Was in Shanghai on business this week and saw these Camaro's on display at the New World Shanghai Plaza. Imagine if the Camaro catches on with the new generation of Chinese, it would mean turning on the 3rd shift again.

I was in Italy back in March 2016 and saw three Gen 5 Camaros. One was all modded cam headers etc. And I was surprised to see so many Harley Davidsons there too. All were in Milan.

Harleys are popular anywhere people can afford Harleys. The ones I saw in Italy were mostly Sportsters, which makes sense given the touring bikes are as big as some of the cars there.

I lived in Qatar for two years, and they opened a Harley dealer in Doha while I lived there. It seemed suicidal to me with the sand blowing on the roadway and how Arabs drive, but they sold them. Mustang convertibles were pretty popular there, too. They advertised pretty heavy. The commercial was pretty good. A boy is riding with his dad and playing with a Mustang hot wheel, then he's grown up and playing with his real Mustang with his friends.

I don't know why, but it always cracked me up to see them driving a convertible with their head cloth on, flapping in the breeze.

Even with your car up like that, here in the U.S. people will still find a way to park next to you.
