Price comparison to Mustangs
Looking at kbb it seems like there might just be a $3k difference between a new mustang and camaro with similar package? Just trying to gauge how the two are priced competitively, and I saw some pretty low numbers for new v6 mustang so I'm confused, like down below $20k.

Disregarding incentives then, are they price matched pretty well then? I think my 1LT was about $26k before warranty etc etc, what would I have gotten spending that much on a Mustang, just curious.

I had a 2012 Mustang GT and I think it was by far the best bang for the buck I have ever had. I had the GT Premium with Premium interior. The MSRP was like $39k, but I got 0% financing and like $5k off MSRP. The car was really great. I just needed more power! If I had to choose between a Mustang and a Camaro, I'd take the Mustang V6 & GT over the comparable Camaro models (mostly due to weight), but chose the ZL1 over the Shelby (just a much better DD than Shelby). I love both cars and have no brand loyalty. You cannot go wrong with either car.

The V6 Mustang gets solid reviews. If you are on a budget, hate to say it, but Ford wins that one. $3k is a lot on a $25k car.

The most important factor has not been mentioned. Dependability, I see way more Mustangs in our shop then Camaros. I have also never seen a 5th Gen Camaro on the side of the road. the 3K less means nothing if you have to do major repairs earlier. I would rather pay 10-15 dollar difference on my car payment for that 3k then purchase a part and repair cost (if done at dealership)
As my best friend (Mustang fanatic says) "There's a reason they are alittle more"

Bad form ;o). Who cares about incentives if you don't like the product. I remember back in 2012 buying my truck the incentives on GM trucks were crazy good plus 0% interest. I still didn't buy it cause i hated the design and the dated interior. I paid a higher interest rate plus less incentives for my ram for the simple reason its a better product and design. In the current market for the 2015's the only muscle car i will look at now is the Camaro or the Challenger. The 2015 Mustang and the new Charger are fugly.
