I used to think it was urban legend: However, after owning TWO yellow cars, among my total of 50 or so vehicles, I can say, without a doubt: For some reason, bugs (especially honeybees) LOVE yellow cars. They land on the car, sit there basking, and I'm pretty sure they even hump the yellow cars.

I have noticed that since my car is red, Mosquitos are very attracted to it... I suppose its the color.

Whatever you do don't put black stripes on it. It will be so much worse after that.

Yes, mine too is often covered in bugs! Especially after washing. Went to an event once where we parked in the grass... all other colors a few bugs, yellow COVERED in them.

My 2010 was Rally yellow and in the summer, honey bees and even butterflies seemed to be attracted to it.

When I arrive at work for night shift it takes about twenty minutes before te thing is covered in spiders. Spiders love a black vehicle at night.
