Replacing steering wheel

Has anyone successfully switched out a 6th gen steering wheel on a 12-15 camaro? If so does everything function properly without messing with it? Thanks in advanced

highly doubtful... with switches on the wheel I'm sure the plug is different or wired differently

There was discussion about putting a 6th gen wheel here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=445431

I just went the route of a suede 1LE wheel on my 1LS.

wow, looks like if you replace the clockspring... it pretty close to plug-n-play. Just need to run a wire for the heater (if you get the heated wheel).

I thought about this but I think the wheel is too small for my tastes. Or it at least looks that way. It can be made to work, but I think some wiring work has to be done for the wheel heater.

I installed a 2014 ZL1 leather wheel in my 2010 SS. It looks amazing and feels so much better than the OE wheel. Very easy install.

Looks too small, kid like, even on the demure 6th Gen.
