Did your problem go away?

So, here are my front lower control arm bushings.
Driver side: Passenger side: It shocked me how slanted they are within their designated slots. Is this normal? Can you tell what condition the bushings are in? On top of this, I'm low on steering fluid and the u-joint on my steering shaft to the steering rack has a small clunk/play in it when I pull it by hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think that's normal. From what I remember.

I'm making another thread about what I 95% know it is. The end of the rack (passenger side) where it connects to the inner tie rod has movement. My coworker's didn't. This has to be it; dynamic toe on the front right while driving is causing the wandering.

Is there play in your inner tie rod when you hit it, or is it solid? Post a video. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When i pulled on my passenger inner tie rod, I didn't feel any play coming from the inner, only heard a slight clanging when i banged on it while the old one was bolted up. When I banged on it with my hand after I replaced both ends, the play I heard was gone. I just wonder if my driver tie rod is shot too, have to check that one out but I think I checked last time it was jacked up and I don't remember hearing anything

Before we go any further, can you borrow a set of wheels and tires for a test drive?

Problem persisted on the front right corner when I swapped my wheels (left to right, right to left) and they were just road force balanced (came out good). I had my bald rear tires replaced and just had all four balanced since I was already there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New doesn't always mean good. We have had issues, not frequently, with new tires. We want to eliminate as many variables as possible. Try a known good set. |

I didn't read through the whole thread but my suggestion would be to get new tires. The thread pattern isn't how it's supposed to be anymore because you drove it while it was out of alignment. I was having this issue and changed them out to mt et street r and it went away. However Everytime I put the street tires back on the issue comes back. Also check your inner trailing arm bushings

Does the same sort of thing happen under braking, any instability with or without noise? Looking at the bump travel side of suspension movement here. Norm
