It's a nothing solid. All we've heard is GM is open to doing a performance model but nothing's been confirmed.

Take the new hatchback and change that RS to SS. Swap that 1.5L Turbo for the 2.0T. Focus ST? GTI? Hahahahahahahaha! Chevy for the WIN!

Yeah but unfortunately if they haven't already got it in the works it probably wouldn't appear until as a 2018 at the earliest. By that time the new gen Focus ST will be out and the Mk8 GTI will be out in Europe. Right now would be the time to make hay with that new Cruze hatchback against a long in the tooth Focus ST and and a GTI that will be four years old in ROW and three years old here in NA. Fenwick says they may go this platform as a Caddy to compete with little MB's and BMW's but that will put it on the pricey side. But again if it's not in the pipeline now it isn't coming anytime soon. Of course behind the closed doors and high fences at GM they could have them running around chasing ZL1's. Or at least we can hope.

GM switching to aluminum for the T1XX truck is probably one of the worst kept secrets in the industry, but this makes me wonder...with GM's expertise at welding steel to aluminum, perhaps at least the bed floor for the T1XX will remain steel?
I wonder what the difference would be with a spray-on liner. I do this to all my trucks anyway, I would never leave it bare even if its steel, it still scratches.

No it's not. A well equipped Hyundai Elantra is about the same, and which would you rather be seen in lol?

That price for a well equipped hatch like that is actually pretty good...

No you're definitely right I had to google car prices in that range and it's pretty average. Any idea what the car comes with at that price?

I think Cruze Hatch starts at the LT trim level so you're getting a decent amount of equipment for that price.

Sadly they've had this car for a while now. Just not here.
