We are a customer. They owe us a positive experience. Thinking otherwise creates an environment that may require tax payers to bail out the company. And what some anonymous guy on the net thinks of me is of zero concern. I doubt they are getting a new car anyways. And I doubt they are very bold in the real world. But it is easy to be pompous online.

Okay so here is an UPDATE on my situation, As Of 12-2-15 at 8:51 pm:
I have taken the bull by the horns. I have contacted GM, chevy customer service and any other contact I could find. I now have an official CASE NUMBER. They are going to look into this, yeah I know they tell this to everyone, but hey, I have a CASE NUMBER, so that's something to go by. I also sent emails to chevy and gm. We will see now whether I get some movement...................

I about lost it when I read the hamburger comment. I hate when people make stupid ill-formed analogies as a way to drum up their personal frustrations in a highly selective manner that oversimplifies the bigger picture and ends up skirting larger issues entirely, like safety. Listen, if the guy at Burger King forgets your pickles, you're slightly peeved. If GM forgets to inspect your brakes before delivery, you're dead. Not really an "apples to apples" comparison. |

Unless you have the title to it in your hand, it's not.

In a lot of states if there is a note in the car, like NC, the title is not in your hand until the car is fully paid off!

At this point. I would look for a Camaro on the lot. there is a good chance that some of you might find your exact build minus a couple dealer installed options. I feel like either 2 things are happening with the early builds.
1. GM logistics follows a LIFO method. 2. There are some serious problems with the early builds. |

The physical title is inconsequential.
As long as the paperwork has been filed at the DMV, the car is yours. That means the second the DMV clerk hits enter after adding all your info into the system, the car is yours.

Not even sure they follow that.
More like, "WEOIETGFO"; which ever one is easiest to grab, first out

What is happening is the 10/12 builds are the last cars to be fixed, QC holds, since they are the first ones that were built, that's why are cars are taking forever!!
One by one they are fixing each. But it does seem like some of the 10/12 and 10/19 builds that have sat for 40 plus days are now hitting 4200, 4300, 4b00, 4300 and 4200 rather quickly like in a matter of 8-9 days before hitting 4200 and than the final 5000.

Zack, can you please keep us updated on your case number? A lot of us are right there with you, or our cars are right there with yours anyway.
