Camaro driver-side quarter PDR

Hello Everyone - I'm wondering if this scrape is revealing the primer and and other layers beneath the Black paint? It might be the paint color left behind from the prick who did this to the Camaro today. I can't freaking believe it, i was parked at the back of the parking ramp away from everything and someone drove up and flung their door on the rear quarter above the wheel and drove off. Unbelievable! Anyone ever had to make this type of PDR on their Camaro with good results?

That sucks. It's happened to me on other cars so I can only imagine it on my maro... The top one looks more like paint transfer than primer, but it's hard to tell. You would really be able to feel if that much paint was taken off to primer. We're you parked next to a 70s teal mobile???

I'm guessing it was a mid-90's ricer of a teal complexion, I don't think that was a popular domestic color in years past. I'm hoping the color is transfer then I can set my target to watch for.

Dylan, You were right, it was all transfer color and came off with a wet microfiber towel. I'm hoping the PDR works out on erasing the dent as my black paint was not scratched off underneath.

Same thing happened to me last year :( Dent is right on the crease; still doesn't look right, after $115 of PDR

PDR repair Update

I forgot to post how my PDR repair went on this bad bodyline dent.

I located a shop named DentKraft in the West Metro of Mpls. They really worked their magic and made the dent disappear - Awesome work DentKraft! I am very pleased.

The access to the quarter was thru the interior backseat panel. I just lifted the backseat and the panel easily detached. Direct access was beneficial. Here are a few photos

Wow! They really do amazing work. It's a shame you had to go through that though...
