It's 80° down here in Tucson. Trying to convince my wife to buy my a $1500 1986 IROC that is for sale sown here. She bought jewelry at one of the many gem shows down here. I should have a diamond in the rough. :p

Pepper is desalinated, de-pooped & shiny again. I'm tired but not just wiped out like I am when I wash Ruby. Pepper is so much smaller & easier. I got a long call from my son just as I was finishing up. Talked for hours. Mike is still talking to him. Life is good.

Rick - - - I say go for the 1986 IROC. That would be a great car to start modifying. However, I do not remember sun roofs as a factory items. They were added as an aftermarket item.

Well we're nearing 80 here in Dallas today and my RJTs Kardashian size booty needs the gear oil removed after the pinion seal let loose (after the gear upgrade). Good day for the two bucket drill....
All this booty talk going on here... ;o) -Don |

Jan, stop knocking yourself...you look hot in red. I might be gay but can still appreciate an attractive women.
Seriously, I am age 64, 5'-10", 175 pounds and see myself as fat. In my 20s-30s tried to maintain my weight at a thin 140. In my 50s hit 150 pounds and a 31-inch waste line and felt fat. Now in my 60s at 175 pounds and 33-inch waste line I feel obese. It is natural we gain weight as we age, natural our waist line expands. I have accepted I will no longer have my thin hips or the 28-inch waste line I had in my 20s. Today in my 60s, I accept my age and changing body proportions...today I only hope to be healthy. Perhaps when I was young I developed an unrealistic body image. Mom was 1950s-60s perfect, she was 5'-7", 115 pounds, 19-inch waste line and 34 inch bust. She was a teen pageant winner, later a runway model. Moms self worth was based on her appearance. Mom struggled with her weight her entire adult life. Mom was unhappy most of her adult life trying to maintain a teenage youthful appearance. Mom died at age 58. I have been unhappy most of my adult life trying to maintain my weight at 20s body proportions which is totally unrealistic. Now in my 60s, still hate my body, feel obese with a 33-inch waste line. In my 20s did do some modeling but to this day never comfortable having my photo taken. This coming spring going to feel exposed driving my 1966 T-Bird convertible. Dark sunglasses and a hat cap is what I will wear. Good day for me. After ten years of pushing my Cuz in South Carolina, countless hours on the phone, she is finally learning to use email. Cuz emailed me today, I linked her with both my brother, and my best friend in Virginia. Cuz and my brother only a few hundred miles apart but have not communicated in close to a decade, they do love each other. I only speak with brother twice a year but we care for each other and had a two hour call today. Today, I was able to link my brother and cuz together. Cuz and best friend in Virgina met years ago on a trip we shared together to DC. Today linked Cuz and best friend on email. They have phone called each other but now have each others email address. Cuz in SC, best friend in VA, we are now planning to get together this coming summer. Last edited by abaucom21; 02-08-2015 at 03:27 PM. |

I still feel good about myself. I just know this extra weight is negatively impacting my health. My BP is up, my exercise/cold air induced asthma is back, I don't feel as well generally. I'll get it back off. Just need some time.
My Dad seemed a bit better today. They backed off on some of his meds. He still struggles to try to put together a sentence that makes sense. Today he could string together some phrases that were somewhat coherent but before it became a whole sentence his train of thought was completely gone. I watched him eat his snack & he did okay feeding himself with just a few instances of doing odd things. He took his partial teeth out & was pulling on them. I was afraid he would bend them so a staff took them from him. He smiled at his birthday card & presents. He was confused when they came to give him the lord's supper but managed to get it done. It was an okay visit. It is hard to believe how far he has gone down since his birthday last year.

I REALLY over-did it today. So tired, and I can't think of any comments to the above posts. But it sounds like everyone had a good day.
Off to bed.

Overdoing it got me into the 60's! I've lost 62 lbs.
I was 180 lbs for the longest time in my teens and twenties. Don't think I will ever Be that weight again. I read where older people should be a bit larger than when in 5 heir youth.
