It is a dreary drizzly day here this morning but supposed to clear off for most of the day then more drizzle just in time for the drive home. Traffic is already a mess in Nashville. Better get moving. HAGD

Cloudy here, and we are expecting rain to arrive here later today and last through Saturday morning. The Superbowl festivities will be kinda wet.

When these low pressure zones come through, I don't feel so good.

I hear ya, I don't like snow either. Usually winters here are pretty easy, a few inches here and there, but a Blizzard or Nor Easter, wow that's a Nightmare.

Gotta give props to the folks whom go out and take care of the roads. They did a great job. The roads are clean and dry, the main roads, back roads are still sloppy, but for the most part everything is open and running.

Glad things are getting back to normal Normagene.

I had a very busy & hectic day but it settled down a bit toward the end & I managed to get all my notes done so that was good. I am still sore from the new exercise routine but getting a bit better. I went for a little walk at work today. I also got my Fitbit today at work. Now tech-dummy me has to learn to use it.

Putting in some OT for the second night in a row. Oh, and there is a new "process improvement" that will now slow me down. First they turned my job into a production type job, even though I produce nothing, and since then have found ways to slow me down.

They sure do. And I'm wondering how this benefits my clients. But what do I know.

True that. Makes me glad I'm retired.

Seriously, over the last few years when I was working, and with what I hear about what goes on where my wife still works, I have to wonder how many of those people jumped into their management slots straight from their MBA degree instead of spending much time, ummm, actually working within the industry that they're now pretending to manage.

Watch the movie "Up In The Air". The answer to your question will be yes.

Do not post much regarding weather as I live in Ottawa and Jan. - Feb. temps typically sub-zero. Did cancel my Thursday afternoon class one hour early as 6-inches of snow moving in. Not a big deal in Ottawa but I am a Texas guy and don't like driving in this stuff.

Last Monday had a premonition the restoration garage working on my 1966 T-Bird was going to call as I have not heard from them for a month. This Friday morning, Jim (the restoration garage owner), called to tell my Bird ready to go, they only have to complete the Appraisal for my insurance company.

Next week will take the drive to the garage and check out the Bird before final sign off. Jim told me they can keep it in their storage until spring or they will flatbed back to my underground garage. Think I will have them flatbed to me so at least I can have it in my garage and occasionally sit in it until next April before I start to drive.

Great news abacom21! Can't wait to see pics of how it turned out!
Glad you got to drive your Camaro a bit Skip but sorry you got your winter blues boosted. Just think about giving Ms Ruby Payback when we line up at the Fest!

I had a very busy day full of little kids in crisis and also some that are either doing a little better or just about the same. LOTS of notes to write! Better get hopping so I can have some weekend to enjoy.

I'm just glad this work week is over. Going to LA was fun, but I paid the price when I came home.

Abaucom, if you have the T-bird towed home, at least you can look at it.

Skip, glad you were able to drive your Camaro. Rained all day here. All of the Super Bowl and golf tournament people are not happy about the rain, but what can you do?

Looks like tomorrow may be a rain out too. Got a minor project to perform on the Chevelle, and tomorrow may be the perfect day.

BTW, I almost forgot, my son got in to NAU (Northern Arizona University) in Flagstaff. We'll have to arrange for housing up there. My daughter finishes grad school in May (UofM) and my son starts his Junior year up at NAU. It's been a LONG time since my wife and I had alone time. We won't know how to act.

Empty nest is weird. Mike & I never had an empty nest as Jina was 6 months old when we stated seeing each other. I had Ryan when she was 13yo. When Ryan left home it was really strange. I'm too tired to finish my notes. MUST SLEEP. Sweet dreams all.
