Arrow door panels painted white (Please help out)

And I wanted to ask why I needed different size screws to do the install? Here's a pic of the panels and a pic of what screws I saw on a DIY says I need. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't wait to see the pics of these installed. Should have covered them in white leather.

I went to Lowes and picked up bag of #8 & #10 screws and a box of tiny washers. One by one i installed them using washers as standoffs to ensure there was no way they could poke through the inside. As i did each one i held my finger over the area so i could feel if it began to slightly push forward. If it did i backed up and added another washer or two and repeated. Each panel is now rock solid tight.

I did this more than 3 years ago and they are still perfect today.

#8 and #10 are different screw sizes right? I Think I'm good With Just The 8mm right?

Yes they are different sizes. The reason is i found the 8 just BARELY grabbed enough on a few so i had to go with the 10's. I am sure i did it overkill style but, i wanted to make sure i only had to do it once and that i would not ever have any rattles or anything. I am positive a couple of them if i had used 8's would have fallen out by now.

Arrow

So i installed the door panels but I came across a problem, I can't see the ABL lights thru the door panels, there is like no gap what so ever. . Do you guys think I installed them wrong or is it because I have a 2013 2Ls and the door panels are different? Please help me out. .

And does anyone have a clear picture where I can tap the positive and negative. There is a factory plug tucked behind the door and ABL pigtail plugs on but I didn't push all the way and the light doesn't turn on either. Here are some pictures. I'm about 85% happy with the results but I would love to be 100% happy with the ABL lights turning on and showing thru the door panels.

door panels painted white (Please help out)

Who did you buy the panels from? If they are the GM OEM white ones then the ABM is pre-setup and if you lights are working the whole door panel will glow blue in addition to having the intense beam across the top of the panel (really cool look at night). If you bought them from a place like RPI you would have had to tell them so they didn't paint over the spot for the ABM. I would think if your light were working It would still cause the panel to glow though.
