'18 ZL1 Photos - New Lighting and Hood
Big milestones - finally reached my 1500 miles. Changed the oil to the new 0W-40 and changed the fluid for the differential. While I was working on the car I decided I might as well change the side markers (Diode Dynamics), heat extractor for the hood (Andersen Composites), tail lights, third brake light and rear reflectors.
One unsolicited plug for Wildhammer - I ordered everything from them and they were AWESOME to work with. |

I debadged my Bowtie in the back as well. Looks cleaner IMO, I love it. nice ride brother!

As much as I don't like the rear bow ties, it looks odd without it there. I wonder how it would look with the rear ZL1 emblem moved to the lower left part of the trunk lid? I would have for sure left the ZL1 emblems on the CF hood insert. I'm not not a fan of badges, but I love hood emblems. On my 5th gen, I bought some real CF veneer and cut out some "1" inlays to go over the red in all of the exterior ZL1 emblems. Looks good and really changes how the car looks.
