cats. Unless you are making 600rwhp or more, they don't tend to hurt too much and the LS2 engines often lost horsepower if they ran with just cutouts and no cats (no restriction). I personally prefer the sound WITH cats on most catback systems.

Really, with 400-500rwhp how much power is really lost with high flow cats?

I bought Andy's (ADM) "off road" replacement down tubes but haven't tried em out yet. I was mostly looking at the weight savings.
I thought this thread was about *****.....cats!

Junkie, I went with the SLP longtube package with hi flo cats, I may want to sell the car one day and I don't want emissions to be an issue.

Here's a dyno pull from yesterday's tune. I'm running the Dynatech supermaxx longtube headers with their "power cat" catted midpipes and MBRP cat back exhaust

ffwd to 1 minute for the dyno pull...

416HP 417TQ No more skip shift, no more popping on decel, throttle response down low is incredible. smooth linear power band

I'm running Kook LT's with MBRP X- pipe and back. No cats. At points it is honestly a little to tinny sounding for me. Don't care for the drone either. I was thinking of getting some hi-flo cats, how much would they affect the way it sounds?

I have ARH LTs 1 7/8 no cats hooked up to the OEM muffler after taking to Nick from ARH this is what he recommended because we don't emission test.the sound is not too loud while cruising you can barely hear it with windows up and at WOT its perfect as volume goes.but I hate the tone itself I think its too metally and raspy especially while idling I was thinking of changing the mufflers with A/M axle back but afraid to be too loud.
