True. But are you a real freind if you let your buddy go out with a bad hairpiece on without telling him it looks bad?

Gotta say something. Just do it politely.

Not;

"Dude, lose that F***ing rug"

But;

"Somethings wrong with your hair, maybe you should look at it?"

Well, actually yes. You're right. You can say something nice, or mean, and still be saying the same thing.

This is why you are wise and I'm still a learner.

My biggest issue is when people are all excited about whatever they may have, a car, their house, whatever, they are all excited and there is always someone who points whatever out. The first time I took the Camaro to work, this one idiots first comment was "Hmm Camaro huh? You know your warranty will probably be void when GM goes to crap. Oh and I don't like the sunroof. They leak"(umm..now would be a good time to let you all know he drives..get this...no joke..a FORD FESTIVA!) Anyway my response was" Yeah..hey do you by chance have my warranty paperwork? What? You didn't pay for it? Well then, shut the F*** up!"

That seems to work!

Yep, I am feeling you. I totally agree with you regarding people who get overly agressive in the expression of their opinion and I should have said this in my original post.

I can't tell you how many times I wanted to call someone here an idiot, moron, etc. and I "may" have slipped a time or 2 (shame on me if so) but I remind myself to play "nice". I actually have a sign at the entrance to my cube (yeah, I am an office rat) that says, "Criticism is welcomed here but, please be Constructive". It irks me when people post derogatory one-liners.

People actually PM you to complain when their feelings get hurt? You must have a lot of patience.

I dont necessarily hate the cars that usually have been "Riced out" with neon and body kits and a super high wing spoiler.

i hate the mindset that the drvers of those cars have. For example there is a kid in my apartment complex who drives a new lancer. every time he pulls out of his spot and leaves he floors it and the cars front wheels screech and he maintains an average speed of 40.........inside a neighbor hood with a speed limit of 10 MPH.

I've never reported someone for ANYTHING and never will. If it's horendous enough, I'll just fire back. I've only done it once, and the Jacka................... person deserved it. I know it's not the way to handle it but I didn't care. Now, if I got a problem I will PM them.

Sorry again mods. :(
