Using a LSX block on the SST build.

For people that may be interested attached is brand new intake that was designed for it. I am "donating" the stock Camaro engine for R&D to test for NA applications. Should be a powerful setup.

Almost looks like a pseudo-independent throttle body sort of manifold.

It is. I will post some pics when completely assembled. Pretty wild intake. Huge amounts of torque and extremely responsive in bench tests.

I'm looking forward to that- you seem to have a couple wild builds in your stable

Edit: Is this going to maintain the drive by wire setup or is it cable driven?

the edelbrock pro flo xt is different, and designed for lsx engines as a bolt on, could be easier than the carb. looks alot like the corvette fi used in '66. i was thinking of the 454 for my wifes tahoe. looks like you have the power bug pretty bad junkie!

Check our website under the 2010 Camaro gallery.. I have already installed a 454 LS7 in our 2010 Camaro. It dynoed 575 RWHP and 545 RWTQ. With a very mild camshaft.

Thumbs up

Someone on planetlsx.com is putting a LSX454 in their 2001 SOM SS.
I don't think he's doing the carb thing, which I think is cool, by the way. Hope this helps.
Here's the thread here; http://www.planetlsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1289
