Nathan, should we start a pool to guess how many holes you filled that you shouldn't have? IOW when you start putting things back together are you going to find "...OOPS! should have left that bolt/hole there for this thingamajig to mount to..."

Nathan, are you going to give the motor its own photo shoot? Will all the effort you put into it you really should get it in front of a nice backdrop with good lighting and take some professional quality pictures before you put it back in the car. That way you can highlight some the crazy things you did before it gets covered by the engine bay...

My answer without a ton of hassle....

Will be adding carbon fiber skirts to the sides to tie the front CF piece together.

The CF looks great, and with the side skirts will look very cool. Mind telling us where you got them?

Rockin, thats a good idea. I think I'm going to do that when I get the sub-frame and suspension components assemble with the engine and trans mounted.

Thanks all. I've been here since Feb 2011. Anyway, Most of the engine bay was fabricated by Pete, who sponsors our club and is the owner of Showstopper
Accessories, and ran about $1000. The engine cover is custom painted to match the car with the correct paint codes for both base and stripe as is the TB.

It is the only Pace out there like this and definitely one of a kind. Kind of hard to replicate the signatures!

Kevin I'm trying to get her running by Feb to compete at RTTC but it's going to depend on how fast I'm able to get all the parts.

I should have the sub-frame next week, wheels are coming, etc, etc, etc.

Indy, your car is definitely one of a kind! What I meant is there's another member that also goes by the handle "Indy"

Quick Update: Pick up that parts for the power steering rack. Time to start detailing.

Not everyday that you get to see the guts of your power steering rack!

The nut inside the rack creating kinda of problem.

Had to make a new special tool to remove it. Most racks only require a four tooth socket to remove the nut. Ours requires a five tooth socket. So we had to machine one.

Very cool thread, I am AMAZED!!....You have done a great job, and congrats to all the ones who have done so well in cleaning up the engine bays!

I was referred to this thread because of this post I made:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270687

Can you please help me with the identity of this fitting, and how it will need to be replaced? It's going to a tranny cooler. It has 2 complete hose fittings as you can see in the pics. The one towards the driver's side is giving me the issue, and leaking when the car is cranked. I am guessing it's pressurized?

Can you help advise? Please help
