Torn Between Colors: Vivid Orange VS White
It's my passion to keep a cars paint perfect, blindingly shiny. Won't be able to achieve that Wow factor in regards to this with white.
Vivid Orange looks pretty good, but it basically stands out as much, if not more than red for them coppers around here. I usually drive slow, but sometimes these guys will have a bad day and just pull me over to give me shit. At the very least they'll tag me on the no front plates and window tint. If that happens, it'll be a running tradition to get it at least once per muscle car. So what say you all. Although white looks great and super clean, it's not a very exciting color. Orange is definitely in the extreme opposite spectrum. No in-between choices right now. |

I was torn between VOM and SW, ended up going with the white as i tend to get bored with colors and white is timeless. I have had three gen 6 SS1LE's,the current white, Satin Steel, and RGM, all great colors with the black trims.

Between those two colors I'd go with Vivid Orange.

For me, whites, silver, ho hum, look great on a Honda Accord, but not sports cars. Give me Red, bright blue, yellow, or orange.

I loathe bright, obnoxious colors on cars. My current car is Riverside Blue and honestly, I don't think I'd pick it again even though it's not that bold of a color. I would have much rather have had Satin Steel Grey or white again.

Trendy colors look great on other peoples cars to me. I like to keep it simple and not standout like a pimple. The simple colors never go out of style. I’d definitely go white.

Try to see the vivid orange in person because pictures don’t capture that color correctly. I originally ordered my ZLE in orange but after months of waiting to have my order accepted I ran into a Vivid Orange 1ss and I didn’t like it. I was hoping it had the 2002 sunset orange look, but it had a brown hue to it that I didn’t like. I wish GM would have kept the Orange Crush as an option, but a lot of decisions they’ve made lately with the Camaros have been terrible so I’m not surprised.

I do like vivid orange but I just won't pay for the paint job.

White is one of my favorite colors for a sports car. Clean looking and really pops.
Under dealer lights VO looked a bit ho-hum brownish. Although, I’m sure it looks better in the sunlight, especially in 1LE form. VO definitely needs black accents…it’s a bit boring without them. |

That Satin Steel Metallic looks great - almost looks like liquid metal along the line areas.
I'm looking at trading up my HBM next year and was planning on VOM, but now that I've seen the SSM, I'm undecided |
