Mission Accomplished.......................

So my goal was to reach 600rwhp without changing anything out. So I was able to hit 604rwhp just bolt on even though I had to add meth with the Procharger.

Now I could get a lot higher in the 600's if I did just swap out the high side LT4 fueling but I believe I'm good where I'm at. I'm not racing or anything like that so no need to push it any further. There is a catch where my shift point has to be no higher than 6200 - 6400k because once it hits 6700 (factory fuel cut off is 6600) and above the factory fueling will fall flat. At that point as it will be all meth beyond that. The way I baby the car no need to even be concerned with that I may have redlined it like 3 times since I've had it.

What is cool on the addition of meth is the torque numbers. The pulls will be nice and strong to accompany the extra 40rwhp to go along with it. I also have to add that I went from 6.5 to 8lb of boost also. Very satisfying numbers if I must say so myself.

The top dyno sheet was after the Procharger was installed and the bottom was after the pully change and meth addition.

Your build further motivates me to do the complete LT4 fuel system upgrade before I put the blower on. Something about running E60, no meth, and low boost, thats gives me piece of mind revving out all the way to the OEM fuel cutoff on E60 fuel.

Your goals have to be higher than mines and wishing you the best with your build. Not saying I will never do the LT4 but for what I wanted out of it right now I'm content.

The whp # is great but what really counts innday to day driving is

Traction
Consistency
Useable power

Kills me there are bolt on A8 E85 cars that could probably give me a run for my money on a hot day

Where in NC are you? If not too far from the Charlotte area, I'd love to check your car out sometime.

Bolt-on cars with weight reduction on a drag pack...sure. Full weight on 20" wheels...No. Remember that removing weight is like adding power. Every 100 lbs shed is like adding 25hp. Rotational weight is double that. So a bolt-on car with 200lbs of weight reduction on a full drag pack with race brakes making 480whp can run with full weight cars making 600whp.

100 lbs is closer to 10hp. Rotational would be your 25hp or so.

Negative...100lbs weight reduction is a tenth reduction in the 1/4. It takes more then 10hp for a 10-11 second car to drop a tenth.

There's certainly a scale as you make more power and go faster. But using your 25 hp factor per tenth means going from an 11.5 you'd need an additional 250 hp to run 10.5. We know you don't need that much more power to drop a full second.

Fair enough...but the point was you have to consider weight reduction when comparing these NA bolt on cars that are lighter to full weight power adder.

Absolutely. As for the OP's setup, how many people are still breaking pistons when heavily relying on meth for fuel?

I'm in Raleigh but may be headed that way next weekend 8/13 to a car show.
