Did the boots on the CAI come yellow from Roto or did you paint them?

Awesome car! I should have a few more to add this weekend. Going to the Phoenix chapter of AAFC’s Payson car show on Sunday. Blue will be there.

I haven’t been on here for a while, but figured I’d share my Bad day…
going through a green lit intersection, with a truck to my left, a guy on a mountain bike flew across the intersection from the left of the truck that was next to me. The truck slammed his brakes just in time to miss him, and the guy on the bike t-boned into my door and fender like a missile. I didn’t even see him coming from the other side of the truck, only felt the impact and heard the sound and, through my side mirror, I saw a human body laying in the intersection. I got out and ran back to him, screaming for two pedestrians to call 911. A nurse and the driver of the truck ran back to him as well. By the time we got to him, he was getting up, and the nurse and I tried to check his injuries and get him to sit down and wait for an ambulance. He was bleeding from his eye brow, the back of his head, and one of his arms, and kept saying “I’m ok, really”. Within what seemed like a minute, officers showed up down the street, the injured man said “sorry man” and fled on his bike. After getting statements from about a dozen witnesses, the officers told me I did nothing wrong and sometimes things like this just happen. I don’t understand why he ran, I’m shocked he was even able to stand after this, and I hope his decision to flee doesn’t have dire health consequences for him. I can’t believe a human body can hit a car this hard and still function. A car is just a car, and it can either be fixed or replaced. My nerves have been jacked for over an hour and it’s been quite a task to hit the right buttons to type this…. |

Haha, maybe so, I just can’t understand why, with how bad his injuries might be, he’d risk his life just to avoid maybe having to pay for something. Even if he gave them a fake name or whatever, he still could have gotten medical treatment.

Man that’s a crappy rando. Sorry to see your car beat up. Hope you can get it fixed quickly.
