[2018 ZL1 HBM]

Was on the highway tonight (23 South Wayne) at a red light where I was second in line in the fast lane, there was one car in the middle lane, and the far right lane was empty. I saw what I knew was a Mustang, all likelihood a late model GT (definitely wasn't a Shelby GT 350 or 500) coming up behind me. So he got all the way over to the empty right lane. So he starts revving his engine. So the light turns green, at first he didn't get on it, then he saw that as soon as I had the opportunity to go around the car in front of me, that I started coming up behind him, so I heard him punch it. I was walking him in at a rapid pace, so instead of taking his medicine, he puts his right directional on, gets on the shoulder, and slows down and acts as if he was planning on getting off the highway to enter one of the businesses. I watched him in the rearview mirror ride past 15 businesses on the shoulder, (maybe a quarter mile) until I was out of sight. Guy thought he was fooling someone. I know he was acting like he was getting off the highway because he was about to get passed like he was standing still....Lol...Would love the opportunity to get a Shelby GT 500 on the highway to see what happens. I know a Shelby GT 350 would present 0 challenge....2018 A10, Garnett Red Tintcoat.....

How do you like that setup? Have about the same parts going on plus ported blower, and ethanol. Stock tires?

My mods are similar to the OP plus ported blower and mine made 697whp. You're likely not going to be able to use much ethanol at all since 700whp or so is the limit before you run out of fuel and the higher the ethanol content the more fuel you need. You can pretty much go full bolt on like me and end up around 700whp on 93 octane, but if you want to add more ethanol you're going to need meth or a cam.

I'm still on the stock tires and it actually hook pretty decent surprisingly as long as there's some heat in the tires. When the tires are cold, they will spin. I wouldn't want any more power on stock tires, any more would need a drag radial.

I've got very similar mods with an Esensor and running about 42%. Just got it retuned, 682rwhp/718rwtq. I've got the jms unit on for a little bit of insurance and with warmer weather it'll drop off a bit. ''Tis enough for me...until that pesky mustang doesn't turn off....

Right on guys, I was wondering about the fuel system with ethanol as I figured from what I've read 700whp is about the limit. Unfortunately we only have 91 here and I also have access to 100 as well, but I'm thinking we'll tune on 91 and that will be enough power anyways. Or maybe drop back to stock size pulley and add some e and retune. Still thinking it over, thanks for the input

Love the set up. Very responsive. Still on stock tires. I actually put Michelin Pilot Sport AS4's on in the beginning of winter, and will switch back to the Goodyear OEM's on April 1st.....With what you added? I could see 700+ RWH....

Cant wait until a new gt500 tries to do that to me in my sleeper (2018 ss 1le) or even my slow car (modified 2015 z06)
