Problems at the pump

About 90% of the time I have issues with the gas pump shutting off after a few seconds of dispensing. And it does not matter which station I use. I have to contort the nozzle for uninterrupted flow. I've resorted to this option for hands free pumping. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Perhaps it's a Texas thing. 2019 ZL1.

I always have issues filling up the Camaro here in Cali, doesn't matter where I go. I always get like 1/2 tank ...stops, then like 1/8 full and it stops like it is full.....

Same thing for me. Sometimes I go all the way to full with no issues and other times it keeps stopping. I haven't found a pattern.

I never fully insert the nozzle I gauge how much the nozzle inserts, if that matters, or not, never had what you describe.

Yep I have that problem every time. Very aggravating. Pump usually runs about 4-5 seconds and then stops. I will usually just barely squeeze the pump handle and it may work but takes about 5 times longer to fill the car.

Never had a problem with mine. I wonder if nozzle diameter varies

After having this problem once or twice at one of the BP stations near me that I often use, I switched to another, no issues there so far.

(Actually, it's even more frustrating, as I have to talk to pump attendants giving me sideways looks for getting out of my car, and try to explain that 1) no, the car isn't full yet, pay attention and don't shove me the receipt, and 2) how to turn the nozzle around if it still switches off too eraly... sheesh, please don't get me started about nanny NJ.)

its dependent on the station and type of nozzle. I have the issue consistently (not 100% -but more like 80% of the time) with a particular pump and rarely (like 10%) with others...

Have had my ZL1 since March 2017. Never a problem until recently. Put nozzle in and pull trigger and it clicks off immediately. Have to move it around, turn gas pump off and start over, and eventually it will pump like it is supposed too. It is a real pain..........

Mine doesn't do this. Mine spills once it clicks off when its full though. I can never let it pump till full or some gas will shoot out after it fills.
