Fake Exhaust Speaker

I have no idea what appears at the top banner of your computer when you load the ZL-1 page, but on mine, this Thor exhaust shows up. I finally clicked on it, and it is a speaker that you can program to give your car any sort of exhaust sound that you want.

I seems like a cheap alternative to The Corsa, Borla, and AWE exhausts! Only $1045 !!

I just had to share !!!

The newer M5 has this built into it from the factory. I'm not certain which other car company's offer this but that's the only one I remember reading about time and time again.

$1k is a crazy price to pay.

I thought BMW's made fake exhaust noise for the benefit of the driver and occupants, through the stereo speakers, not for those outside the car. Yikes!

That's even more phony than I thought!

I have to get TWO of these!!!

One for my GF's Prius, that would be hilarious! the second for her Miata!

Make them sound like big blocks! LOL!!!

OK, maybe not....never mind....

Sorry, but this is utterly ridiculous, playing fake exhaust noises, oh boy. I wonder how many people actually spend that kind of money to be an obvious phony?

Lots of cars have them in the cabin. The 2.0T Camaro also had it.

It's one thing to have them in the cabin, it's another when you want to take it outside the car.

Sent from toaster or something

this reminds me of the milltek systems I've seen on some teslas (on video, not in person).

I can see this being a good idea for a quiet electric, for obvious reasons.
