Chevrolet must lower ZL1 prices, when will they?

A ZL1 1LE costs as much/more than a C8, nobody there than die hard Camaro fans would buy a ZLE at this point, so Chevy must lower the price or produce incentives, my question is why haven't they done it yet and actually they need to add more incentives to sell the entire Camaro line up

I’m sure I buy into your premise. I don’t see many people who want ZLE performance would settle for a C8 Stingray. You won’t be able buy a C8 Z06/7 for ZLE money.

Because the vette has back seats? Totally different market, I have a kid and cannot do a vette.

Probably more. I spec'd a C8 on the Chevy web site and it was over $93k. That carbon fiber adds up!

Some people don’t buy base models. The Z06 is coming...

Be careful comparing pricing between the two at this point. The $59,999 Corvette MSRP is a marketing gimmick. It's already been announced that the base price will be going up after the first year. Not only that, I think orders for all 2020 production have been more than filled meaning dealers can raise prices and those customers who don't want to pay the premium will just be replaced by those who are willing.

I bought a used low mileage 2 year old ZL1 last year because I couldn’t afford a new 2019! GM never lowered the price on the 5th gen ZL1 so why do you think they would lower the prices on the 6 gen ZL1 and ZLE just to make them more affordable for everyone! I like the idea that not everyone out there can afford a ZL1 or ZLE!

When you go to local car meets and see 100s of Vettes and just one ZL1 1LE you will realize you made the right choice.

Co worker ordered a C8 and it came out to 98k with options and tax out the door. So $64,000 will not get you much.

Maybe a base C8

I've attended a few car events over the summer where there were 300 and 400 cars and didn't see another ZLE. Even with all the car guys around, most had never seen one. I like the fact that when I drive this car, I don't see another one coming or going, it truly is in a unique market and with the low production numbers every year, I don't see GM continue producing them for much longer. However, I do plan on seeing it in my garage for awhile.

They get discounted every year. I paid $20k under sticker for mine.
