Plus the factory OEM Z28 spoiler will bolt directly on to my Camaro SS 2014 (and a 2015) contoured trunk lid shape; no tweak, no drilling, or mods needed. The functional hood extractor, narrower height grill, spoiler, splitter were centerpieces of the refresh ... leading to Nurburgring fame for the Camaro after the refresh ;-)

It would seem the Camaro had the design first and Chevy paid tribute to itself with the refresh. But due to the scarcity of those classic Camaros on the road the true origin of the design was overlooked, and the misplaced Prelude mantra began....

Excellent point, HS classmate had same Camaro back in early 70's, the GEN5 even has back bowtie in same location a few inches below the spoilers in both above photos, reverse lights in same exact location too.
