Selling my 1le for upgrade???
So I am entertaining an idea that is not set in stone. I am trying to sell my Cammed 2014 2SS RS 1LE making 472rwhp. 28k miles and a mile long list of mods both performance and asthetic. I am asking for $40k i have around $50k in the car but I will accept my losses, because I am potentially in the marked for a C7 corvette. Im looking at a 2014 c7 Z51 with 28k miles for $45k. I love my 1le but I feel like my performance mods will go alot further with such a substantially lighter car, (800lbs). If anyone has interest in my car hmu! (I have not yet found out how to post pics from my phone, so if you would like to see pics, check out my instagram acc. @my_1le

Hate to tell you this, but mods don't increase resale value and the car value dropped to $40K the day you drove it home. Lucky if you get about $32-35k for it. I have a highly modded 2014 1LE...so I get it. It sucks, but its a matter of fact...especially with gen 6 out. The cars just don't hold value.
Good luck my friend. Hope you can find the right buyer. |

I think the others covered this...$25-30k depending on miles and condition. Some nicely done mods might get you to $32k or so.
I have easily $10k in mods on mine... That's why I don't plan to sell. It's going in next week for new cam and valve train. More mod mad money! LOL |

I know that, but you have to add some value after certain mods, someones not going to go buy a twin turbo fully built camaro for the price of a stock one, obviously you dont get close to the full amount back but mods do add value.

So as info for you to think about mods on your car can decrease your value more than a stock one. Not to mention that a modded engine will have voided the power train warranty which a lot of people would like to keep intact.

Why not de-mod and sell the parts, then trade the car in?
I agree with the others here who mention stock over a mod for resale. Stock will always have more potential buyers. With the mods it will take a specific person to find to buy the car. So what parts do you have for sale? Lol.
