WTB 1LE Camaro

(EDITED)

I'm looking to purchase a 1LE Camaro. I am willing to look at any but the optimal set up would be a 2014 or newer with Recaros or 2ss (however, I am open to 2013 as well and doesn't need to be as loaded). Looking to spend $29k or under. I live in Minnesota and would be willing to pay a little more for a closer located car. If you have any other questions let me know!

Thanks!!

You want a 2014 or newer 2SS 1LE w/ Recaros for under $26K? Have you even looked to see what the retail on these are? You're not even in the ballpark w/ $26k, just so you know.

I have to agree with this, the cheapest I have seen a 1LE on here was $27k, and that was for a 2013, and I thought that was still an insanely good deal! You are going to be looking at more like $28-32k.

Agree. Expect around $30K + tax

For a 14-15, you will be looking at 28-32K depending on options, mileage and condition.

You are nowhere near the ballpark for a '14/'15, dealers are paying close to 30k cash which translates to a "store credit" of over 32k in most states. There is a white '14 1LE on the FB group "Camaro Craigslist 5th gen 2010 and up" right now by Jose Lugo for $31k (unknown mi). Three weeks ago a Chevy Dealer in Phoenix had a '14 1LE with 5k mi for $31k that sold within 48hrs of posting because the manager didn't run the VIN correctly.

That being said, there is a minimal snowballs chance in Mexico that some owner is simply trying to get out of payments somewhere like LeaseTrader/LeaseQuit/SwapaLease.

If you are really looking to purchase at that level, your best bet is to bribe someone with an auto dealers auction license.

Mines listed for $28,500. You all would crap yourselves if you heard how many "I got $23k cash today" offers I've had. I don't even respond to them anymore. People always want champagne for the cost of a beer.

Thank you all for the feedback (those of you that were constructive anyways). I apparently need to rethink my price parameters. I had done "some" research, but far from having the knowledge about these cars that many of you have. That's why I joined this forum, to find the car I want and get some schooling along the way. I didn't know there was such a disparity in pricing between the 13 and the 14-15 years. Is there a major reason to this, besides them just being newer?

I decided on that price so I didn't have to take out a loan and just pay cash. If it is above $30k I will really have to consider my options and quite possibly just take out a bigger loan and buy a grand sport

I will change my options to include 2013 and bump my price to $29k. I appreciate the offers I have received so far and will weigh my options.

I'm fine with a 2SS OR just Recaros... Still trying to get a feel for the market I suppose. I adjusted my search parameters.

I appreciate the input. You definitely have been keeping an eye on the market for these. I took your advice and adjusted the parameters. I am not quite at the high end you explained, maybe I can find a '13 within my options. Do you know why the 14-15 years go for so much more?

Thanks!

New cheapest 1LE? I messaged him but haven't heard back yet. Granted it's a 2013 but from the sounds of it, that might be more what I'm looking at with my options. I appreciate the input and have adjusted my scope.
