I saw the TSP “in stock” also so i called...nope. I just cancelled my Katech order last week, was just ready to put car back together and used newer part number OEM pump. I do appreciate them just refunding my money so i could get my car back together before we started forgetting where everything went...this damn thing is built around the radiator!

The 1st batch of pumps has shipped. We'll have another 30 to ship by the middle of next week.

We should be clear of all pre-orders and back in stock in 2 weeks.

The worry on the newer lt4s has moved from bad oil pumps to broken valve springs

Broken valve springs in which years LT4s? Does the LT1 also has that issue?

Unfortunately, I get to add my car to the casualty list. 2018 ZL1, 17,500 miles, A10, build date 2/18. I was cruising at 35 and got a check engine code "reduced engine power". Pulled over and observed that Oil PSI was ~10psi. Shut the car off / restarted and observed about 20 PSI but rose to ~30psi with light throttle. I just got word from my local dealer that they are going to replace the tensioner kit and oil pump. They 'say' the chunks did not go through the block. I am skeptical. They estimate 10 days to get parts and then lots of shop time. Do any of you who have been through this have any words of advice?

Sorry to hear that CrashFast! Hope everything works out for your ZL1 and you. I am keeping tabs on mine and keeping my fingers crossed that the pump doesn’t fail in my 2017.

I'm not worried but CrashFast I just looked a my build date, 2/18 I have 12 or 14K on mine ! I will keep a eye out !

i might be a victim as well, got a few miles down the road from work yesterday, got check engine light, oil PSI was still around 25 so I babied it home. Got home and when i parked oil pressure dropped to 0 before i shut it off and never came back up.. Towed to dealership waiting for them to get it looked at... they said it wouldn't even be looked at until 3/16/21

Katech Pump is going into my ZL1 as we speak. Mine did not fail but the mods have started so may as well do it.
