Trading in 2019 C7 for 2019 ZL1
Hey guys,
Been considering trading in my C7 for a ZL1. As much as I would like to get into the C8. I refuse to pay $15-$20K over sticker! I found this 2019 with only 742 miles which is insane. Clean Carfax, Dealership said it was a demo model which they bought so it was never even registered. Sticker is $59K which I think I can talk them down even more. Car looks, runs and sounds like new. My only concern is if you look at the last pick of the two-piece rotor. It looks like there is some flaking/peeling going on. Is this common on these cars? Thanks! Looking forward to getting behind the wheel of 650HP! Last edited by Cal 20112SS; 02-23-2021 at 03:44 PM. |

Not going to be easy letting go of the C7 either. Gonna be a bitter sweet moment for sure.

That car was $66-68K new, depending on what is in it. Not to many upgrades, moonroof, CF dash insert, gas door cover, PDR. Auto or Manual? It is two+ years old and used. No way $59K!

No moonroof No CF insert No gas door cover. it does have navigation and PDR. Other than that it's as basic as you can get. I'm thinking $54K max |

Like it or not every low mileage example like that is now bringing easy 60K plus. So, yeah, it’s worth that. I paid 62K for mine that does have sunroof, PDR, CF dash, exposed CF hood, etc. yeah, I could have spent a few K more & got new, but the locked TCM killed that. Between that & the revised oil pump the ‘19 A10 is a unique year unto itself. |

Great looking car. My rotors (also a 2019 model) have not flakes like that. I’d just work the deal for them to include new rotors.

Go for it Cal! Seems like a pretty good deal to me. gtfoxy is right in that these cars used are bringing a lot of money now and since it’s a Certified Preowned car they should warranty the rotors if there is a problem with them.

if its never been registered, it would be considered new sale? thats good for the three year b2b warranty for sure. I would say that a 2019 with low miles (still 5K+) used would be more like 55-57K. So thats a rough idea of the premium you are paying...seems like a decent price....
