Yes, it takes a little patience to make sure you get the can thread started when screwing it back on. I snug it up just as the o ring starts to seat so it can be removed with one hand later.
Just had another thought, it only takes a minute to remove the brace entirely, that would make it very easy to access.

Where is that inner bolt bolting up too? I don't have my car too look, but it looks as if it's off the strut tower

I haven't looked at the installation instructions yet, so I'm not sure.

It is overlapping the tower-to-firewall brace on the side of the strut tower. It makes for a clean look, but functionally I don't think it provides squat except a checkbox marked for NHTSA when it comes to convertibles. Better to center the load around the top of the strut tower.

I actually think the best option someone could come up with is a stiffer, sleeker 3-point that mounts around the top of the towers, replaces the tower-to-firewall braces and has the crossbar more rearward where there is a little more room to elevate for better clearance of some blowers and intakes.

I've only test-driven a 6th gen for - like - 15 minutes, and not anywhere curvy, so I can't really tell, but is it really noticeable when adding a STB? I mean, I know how much the STB helped on my 4th Gen, but with the impression I have of the 6th gen's ride quality, how much does it really do?
