Just an update now the hot weather had arrived.

I've still had no check engine lights and the car still pulls strong. it's an excellent intake tube for your money. I fully recommend it and I think it's the best bang for the buck

I second that. I have had mine for almost 1K miles and never got a CEL. I used to have the Typhoon K&N which gave me CEL's ALL the time, after getting a refund from K&N i bought this setup, and i don't regret it.

BTW i have the Air Raid modular tube and a drop in "Green Filter", since i read good things about the green filters in other threads.

Installed this today but was unable to get the maf unplugged, however, I did disconnect the battery. Will not unplugging the maf cause an issue?

Hey small world lol. Yeah the lease was up on the Mustang, got a great deal on this, so I bought it. Now I have two red Camaros...at least this one is a darker red lol. For a V6 I'm very impressed...much better than than the V6 Mustang. How's your ride doing? Have you had any of these "shudder" issues I've been recently reading about? Mine hasn't had any yet knock on wood, but there are really tiny signs that it may be the start of it maybe...to soon to really tell. Wish I wouldn't known about this before buying the A8. That's my only regret

Have the K&N drop in in our 2013 and no issues waiting for mine to arrive next week. 73000 miles...

No shudder issues but I tuned mine right away to correct the potential problem. I wouldn't buy a A8 if tuning is not a option. The slip tables combined with front pump operating at low pressure is a big portion of the problem. When you Zero the slip tables the pump runs high pressure all time which makes the downshifting a lot firmer. GM's goal was to make this thing shift seamlessly, especially in and out of AFM, and it was a mistake imo.

The good news is GM said they finally have a fix coming soon...5yrs later. I wouldn't hold your breath. lmao

Good info. Yeah I've been reading about these supposed "fixes" but they all appear to be bandaids that just prolong the inevitable. Very displeased with GM to say the least. If the Camaro didn't exist I wouldn't even consider a GM product to be honest. I hate to void the warranty, but if the shudder really starts to take hold, I might have my buddy tune it out like you did. Sounds like this is the best overall fix, even if it's not a 100% sure thing. Other than the A8 BS I love this car

So you ordered the intake tube and K&N filter for your 2017 V6 that's in your signature?
