This is my exact problem. I feel that we as consumers have no way of going higher than customer chat or call center with no way to escalate the situation to let the higher ups know at least whats going on and get some type of idea of a eta. I can see my car via onstar still sitting out front the plant for two weeks now without moving.

Cancel your order and reorder. Thats what I would do! Do you really want a car that has been in QC hold that long!

The only thing that will get GM's notice is if EVERYONE cancelled their orders.
Then they'd look deeper into the issue.

GM does not care about you, the dealers are their customers.

Let's remain calm people, I'd rather have a car held up in QC than to have a car shipped to me that's going to have issues as soon as I drive it home.
Same thing happened in 2009/10 when the GEN5 cars came out, lots of orders to go through and get out to their respective customers. |

Mine is stuck in 4B00 to 4300 lala land. I am considering taking my pre-approved loan check and getting a nice new in stock Impala.

First world problems. If your car is held in up QC you will complain due to impatience. If your car is shipped with defects, you will complain they weren't thorough enough with QC.
You know the risk of being an early adopter when you sign up. Stop complaining. November was an optimistic timeframe, and of the people who got their cars so far, they have defects, whether it's issues with vinyl graphics being cut to the wrong sizes, the HUD randomly failing, etc. The only person so far who hasn't complained was the first customer to take delivery a few weeks ago, but you can bet GM paid special attention to that car. Most dealers probably won't even get any inventory until early 2016 at this rate. I don't think this is unreasonable at all that a MY16 car will actually ship in... 2016. |
