No such thing. If the wing is optional or the brakes this Camaro will dominate.

Yeah last gen Z28 had them as well. Still don't understand why. I know it's probably to save weight. I want some HID lights if I'm spending $70k or more

Hmmm...iron rotors. Me thinking they will go the Ferd and or Viper ACR route with this car? Z/28 and a Z/28R? Z/28R would get you the wing and carbon brakes, maybe the AC delete and a rear seat delete, one speaker radio, while the Z/28 would be standard AC, radio, rear seat, etc. But, the Z/28 and the Z/28R would share engine, trans, gears, tires, wheels, and both would come with all the cooling, etc. standard either way.

I'm hoping the CCBs will be part of a package. Maybe have all the aero out of carbon fiber and CCBs in a carbon package. The 1LE is effectively the Camaro's base Z/28, but it has all the coolers included.

The ZL1 was seen driving around without its spoiler.

My guess is, like others have said, we're seeing a Z/28 and Z/28R being tested.

The grill has that giant piece of plastic behind it like the ZL1. It didn't sound SC'd in any of the vids but that's got to be a good indicator that it's going to just be a stripped down ZL1. No new NA motor for the Z/28 :(

They're the base model headlights.

Are you referring to the black bar just behind the grille? That's not plastic. It's the actual bumper.

That is most likely the crash bar you're seeing thru the grill, you can just make out the front tow hook attachment spot on the right side.

Let's just say there's an "Z06/Z07" type upgrade that will be available.... if the vehicle pictured were to be a "Z06" type vehicle, I would hope it comes with some sort of rear spoiler and not just a flat deck lid, as seen here. With the front china's poler and canards on the corners, it looks awkward without something to match in the rear.
Also agree on the sheer massiveness of those tires! Awesome. I also understand the reasoning behind base model Halogen headlamps, but to me, they are extremely out dated for visibility and safety. They should be LED on all cars these days. Especially at the performance level (out driving the headlights - the reason Xenon and above even exist) and price point of these cars! |

Another thought... if they are truly going to use 325's in the rear, are those able to fit under the SS/1LE/ZL1 rear quarter panels. Or are they going to use a wider panel, like they needed for the front tires on the ZL1? I'm all for it!
