2.0L Turbo RS 1LT on its way!

In the name of saving on vehicle payments and fuel expense I've decided to move from my 2015 Silverado 2500HD 6.0L gas to a car! Last two vehicles were 2013 sierra RCSB and now the 2500HD. Both had engine mods done. Both had 6.0L V8. Sierra made 600 HP!

So I looked at 3 vehicles lately.

2016 Camaro 1LT RS 2.0L T.
Loved it. The fuel economy is what i love the most. And I'm just used to (and enjoy) the entertainment and info layout. Car felt great. my 2 little girls are gonna hate the back seats though. But they spend most o the time in their mothers ford escape.

2016 Subaru WRX. Loved it as well. Fast. Handled great. Gets great fuel economy as well. AWD would certainly help with winter driving in here in Alberta, Canada. Back seats are much more people friendly! Ground clearance is better. And would definitely suit my hobbies of mountain biking.

2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Loved this one too! . Very functional and tonsss of ground clearance. Awd as well. More options for the same price as the above vehicles. Amazing fuel mileage. But....138 BHP. considering ive tried to make every vehicle ive owned faster...i just would go nuts in such a slow vehicle.

Long story short. The camaro will be here this week.

1LT BLACK RS 2.0L T. AUTO 8 spd. Black out badges. Bose audio package. 8" screen. Remote start. Sunroof. I just wish it had heated seats.

In the winter ill be putting on a set of nokian hakkapeliitta 8's.

I've been toying with the idea of picking one up and trading in my 5gen 1SS. I drive 60 miles one way to work and the V8 is killing me in gas. I am just waiting on more reviews and maybe the possibility of a 1LE package.

Your cost to drive will go down a lot, IMO like to see a1LE 2.0T car that will be fun.

My estimated monthly savings switching from the truck to the Camaro is roughly $800 Canadian a month. Between payments and fuel savings.

Ive been browsing the ATS forum lately for tuning and engine mods. Seems intake and downpipe and tune nets some pretty big gains.

Just dont see many tuners offering remote tuning via hp tuners. Like email tunes. I own hp tuners and rathernot have to buy a another tuning device or handheld.

That's what I want to see as well. I posted something similar in the 1LE subforum. They need to make some package so that the turbo doesn't feel base.

I know for a fact, there is a car in CA (not our car) that went to a company that does downpipe and tuns for other 2.0t cars, so in time there will be HP parts, if GM dos not come out with any on there own.

Here she is! Love the thing!

I tinted the 3rd brake light and side markers and vinyl wrapped the emblems. Except the emblems dont take too well to the vinyl wrapping so ill be getting the black emblems soon. As well as 20mm wheel spacers.

I also ordered the Nightfall Gray Metallic with RS and performance package on a 2LT 2.0 Not much more to get the RS and performance package together. If you get the RS package with performance it drops the price of the performance package to $485.00

Also the 2LT gives you the center LCD console screen and technology and leather

for $32 grand
