It's a game of numbers. If the lease payments + buy out is a better deal than financing from the get go then it's a no brainer. If you own a business, lease through the business.

There's another thing about leasing. Say you have a problem like the autos. GM has no solution. If it blows it blows. Not your car. You just give it back to them. After 3 years you kind of know if it's a lemon or not. I leased my Silverado. If I keep I'll pay exactly the same as if I bought it. So basicly I have 3 years to deside if I want to buy it. I can also buy the truck now if I want.
