I tried to purchase one of these, but sadly they want to ship it from the US via FEDEX. As u well know they will change u import fees that can cost more that the product itself.

And ideas who has something like this up here?

They shipped my order USPS Priority Mail. Are they not willing to do that anymore?



For the next item I order from the states, I'm going to try doing the customs clearance myself. Just google how to avoid UPS or FedEx customs fees. There are several descriptions of how to go about it. Based on one site I was reading, it looks like you may be able do it all in advance via email now, other than going in person to any Canada Border Services Agency to pay the fees.

hahah i ordered the zl1 fender guards and got hammered with a 60 dollar "convenience" fee through fedex, will never order from them again lol this is all after i already paid 30 bucks in shipping....

If your close to the border you can use a third party receiver like US address and go pick it up yourself.... 5 bucks per box and a lot less on shipping costs, often free if its coming from with the US.

$70 (I see the are $85 now) plus $21 to ship USPS.


No extra fees or taxes.

I tried to order the ZL1 front grill screen from ZL1addons today. $39 US for the part. $34 US for shipping. plus taxes. plus brokerage. Not worth it...I will make one myself for $20.

Its a Canadian nightmare buying parts from the US. Phastek has great deals...but not for us :(

Gotta be near a border and use a postal box. Once my TPW is given to me I’m ordering some stuff to a box 5 minutes over the border from where I live. My coworker has a box and he is going down there all the time to get parts. He’ll end up grabbing the parts for me.
