So I pulled the trigger on a ECS Novi 1500 kit from a fellow forum member....it should be here next week. I'll have it installed down by me then most likely have ECS tune it....super excited.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Get ready for the permanent smile every time you drive it, lots of new rear tires AND the ladies will be attracted to you, don't know why? Maybe the release of pheromones during the excitement or you just get better looking when you have a fast car.

I'm actually just going to have ECS do it. Rather than save a few bucks and still have to get it up to them for tuning I'm just going to buck up and have it done by them that why I know it'll be done right.

If the guy I'm buying it from can get it up here this week the car is going in Monday, just ordered my pod and interceptor gauge...this is going to be a long week or two lol

Congrats! It's going to be a fun ride...I have been patiently waiting for the weather to break so I can get mine out but it looks like winter isn't letting up anytime soon.

I can't wait. I was really torn between a centri and say...a LT4 swap. It's a little concerning(for lack of a better term) that all of the power is made up top with a Novi or Procharger but the deal on the ECS kit was a solid deal, couldn't really pass it up.

They all are good enough to max the fuel system and push the LT1 bottom end to it's limits...so I think you did right shopping for a deal. I went Whipple because I scored a really good deal for a new kit. Basically the same cost as the ADM LT4 conversion...so I put the savings into the fuel system.

That's exactly what I said when I bought the Procharger. That didn't last long. Next came fuel mods, Headers, smaller pulley. etc etc.

Well, at least with a centrifugal one doesn't have to modulate the throttle so much when launching from a dig with street tires

It's all about those pesky tradeoffs.
