Rear Reflector Lighting

So has any one considered adding LED strip lights to the rear reflector in the rear bumpers. I did this to my bag reflector on my HD and the lights come on as running lights any time its on. How would they be removed? I used a heat gun on the bike and purchased replacement reflectors and separated them and installed the lights and glued them back together and installed and wired them up. Would not be to hard...

Please explain. Do you have to remove the entire rear valance? Break open the tail light housing?

No. I just backed onto ramps removed the rear diffuser/valence screws and used a long screwdriver to push to diffuser out far enough to remove the screws holding the reflectors in(kinda hard to explain but it’s almost impossible to get to those screws). wiring is just tapping into the wiring harness running to the tailights. I’ll try to do a vid explaining a easier method I discover once I got to the right side for removing the reflectors.

Kinda hard to tell I can’t see mine unless they are turned on they’re a little bit darker than the rear diffuser.

Ok thanks, so they are definitely not just red like the reflector. It is hard to tell what color they are by the link because there are 2 pics, one red and one white.
