Procharged with low mph?

I'm disappointed with my d1sc, the trap speeds seem low to me, I was next to a bone stock 2018 ss that was 4 mph slower than me, he ran 116, I ran a 120, i spent a lot of money and for just 4 mph, I was expectng 127ish and can chip away at the et's. What are you guys running? Mine is a 2017 2 SS npp mrc ect with the procharger installed by a nationally know shop with tune

Prochargers tune is pretty weak ..Sorry Procharger you know it's true .. Mine ran 10.80s with the procharger tune on the HO kit ... Custom tune on E85 9.80s ... Get a custom tune ASAP .. Take it to Boostworks in TX and get it fixed ..https://www.boostworks.tv/chevrolet

Doesn’t pro charger offer the warranty using their tune?
If so that’s why the tune isn’t what a custom tune is

No drivetrain warranty with their tune .. They do offer a 36/36 head unit warranty for 49 bucks but it only covers the head unit ..

The only superchargers that I know of that offered a powertrain warranty were Magnuson and Edelbrock. The factory warranty is still voided.

You should post your timeslip in the track section. How much boost were you running and what was your trap speed? That's good stuff.

@ProhargedGen6, You are definitely correct about the custom tune and given you have the d1 blower, do you also have a converter? I would expect that you will need something to help get you into the powerband on the D1.

You might check with Ted Jannetty or Pray to see what they would recommend to get your setup where it needs to be. I am working with Ted on my setup and he's amazing. Pray has done some incredible stuff with the P1 Procharger that you can see in some recent threads.

Procharged 6th gens really need Gears if Manual or a Converter if A8 due to the way they make power. Look at Prays P1x record thread...I bumped it for a reason. They can be fast if you pay attention to the details, but if you just slap one on a stock car with a canned tune it's going to be slower then a well sorted bolt-on car.

Since you have a D1SC, your engine tune was done custom by the shop, not a canned tune from Procharger, correct?

A8 or M6?

If A8, was the TCM unlocked and tuned as well?

You said 120, but what was the speed at the 1/8 mile?

My 1/8 mile are 95 @ 7.49, 60ft 1.79, and it is supposed to be a custom tune, it is a A8 and I'm not sure about the transmission is unlocked and tuned, I really was expecting 102 in the 1/8th 127ish in the 1/4, and at least very low 11s right now the best is 11.56 at 120.68, not sure what to do next? Lt4 fuel system? Headers? And I will put a convertor in once I get this other stuff figured out

DSX was in Round Rock and their group put a LT4 supercharger and tuned Mike's SS.

I've use Colvin many times, I don't know if they will tune, but they work on a lot of muscle cars in central Austin

There is Aikman in Cedar Park and they will dyno tune and road tune your ride.

Let me know what you decided. I'm interested in dyno tunes in Austin. Probably don't need one right now, but when the forged engine goes in maybe this summer...

also IMO need an A/F gauge. I swap mine between a few rides. That is the only way you know for sure what is going on. Boost gauge too.

In my opinion, before you worry about buying any more parts, first figure out what is wrong.

What was the dyno output? Does the sheet show air/fuel?

Suggest asking the tuner about the trans tune as well.

Your expectations of mph (102/127) seem pretty reasonable to me for a supercharged car.

Also your 60’ is way too high. What tires are you running, you should easily have a 1.6 60 foot with that setup and they say .1 60 foot is around .2 in 1/4. That would put you around 11.1-11.2 in theory. Trans tune helps a lot too.
