I am all for the tank for Tua. I’m just scared Fitz will win too many games to get Miami to 7-9, middle of the pack come next draft.

Fitzpatrick may get the job done, but to properly tank they should have signed AJ McCarron.

After signing a big contract extension the bulb blew and he went 2-7 down the stretch and his passer rating fell 25 points as he threw 17 interceptions over the final nine games and couldn`t hit a wide open receiver but had no problem finding a defensive back to throw it to. If the receiver has double coverage you can bet Fitzpatrick will throw it to him! Good luck Miami with that move and welcome to the club of disappointed Fitz Fans if he`s your starter. “Those who do not know history’s mistakes are doomed to repeat them.” And Fitz has a long history of mistakes!!!
As much as I am a fan and I feel the players careers are short and they should make as much as then can (especial since the owners are billionaires) I would like to see them get contracts based on yearly performance. No long term contracts, no extensions.

I think that would actually hurt the players, when it comes to filling their pockets. Players currently get guaranteed money, no matter how they play. Injuries happen a lot and would hurt their yearly performance based pay.

Sounds to me, Buffalo was dumb to extend a player mid-season.

Buffalo is now under new ownership and front office from that mistake of giving a backup journeyman Quarterback a huge extension, they`re a little smarter with their money now and have a lot of cap space to go free agency shopping with from the previous administration.

Knew it was coming but still sucks. It was time though. Only 29 years old. He won me many FF leagues years ago.

For a time he was the most dominant. Such a short career and even shorter if you factor in time lost do to injury.

Almost feel like this is Bo Jackson'ish with regards to his talent and for how long we got to see it.

Johnny Manziel made his AAF debut last night, replacing the starting QB for three series.

He pretty much sucked... and tried to get in a fight with a D lineman on the other team.

Then the starting QB came back in and led the team to a comeback win.
