Big Worm Graphix

What is everyone's experience with Big Worm? I am thinking about using the tint for the tail lights, 3rd brake light and lower rear reflectors in Gunsmoke. I would like some input on the quality and longevity of these products.

Thanks!

I've purchased several products from them over the past several years with good experience. Good quality, no problems!

I've bought this kit from them twice. https://www.bigwormgraphix.com/2016-...mbination.html with the addition of the headlight tint kits. Once for my 2017 that Hurricane Harvey sank, and once for my current 2018.

The quality is great. No complaints. It all looks great on the car. However, making it look great takes a lot of time and patience on installation. I daily drive my car and it sits outdoors while I am at work, so it's exposed to sun, wind, rain on a daily basis. After 6 months it all still looks brand new.

That said, I have a few disclaimers. The side marker vinyl does not 100% cover the side markers. You don't notice in the daytime, but you notice at night with the lights on. No one else notices. The third brake light cover is pretty hard to make look really good since the lens sticks out so far from the deck lid.

Ultimately I will end up replacing all of it with smoked versions of everything. I have already purchased, but not installed smoked LED side markers (JWMotorsports) and plan to purchase the OEM smoked third brake light to better match my OEM smoked taillights. I will probably also end up getting smoked rear reflectors too because they look a bit better than the vinyl (the vinyl really just makes them disappear into the bumper. I may end up removing the taillight inserts since I already have the smoked tails and it really didn't change the look that much. The taillight inserts do, however, make the red taillights look a lot better. Just beware that it drastically darkens your reverse lights and if you have an LED kit, kind of makes them look yellow when they are on.

I went with the darkest (gun smoke) headlight tint the second time around and I feel it is too dark. Looks killer on the car in the daylight, but it's kinda obvious that they are tinted which is illegal pretty much everywhere. You can also see a noticeable dimming during nighttime driving. Most places I drive are well lit with street lights, so it isn't at much of a safety issue, but it really depends on the person and setting. It's still brighter than many other cars I have owned, but were I to do it over again, I would go with the lighter (tint) color for the headlights.

If I remember later I will snap a few pics and upload.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. Quality products, reasonable pricing, quick shipping and sturdy packaging have been my personal experience. You can't go wrong with them.

Actually just installed the full kit last weekend. The third brake light was a lil too dark for me so I ordered the gun smoke. Taillights were the hardest by far, passenger side has some bubbles but new one on the way. Excellent customer service, fast shipping and superior packaging! Definitely a great product.

Just a question on how the gun smoke tint affects Texas state inspection. Would hate to do it just to fail inspection.

Tail lights and side markers OK?
What about headlights?

Honestly don't know, so I'm hoping Big Worm can enlighten us.

Tail Lights have to be visible from 1000 feet, but "visible" is up to the person enforcing the law so that's where the law can be applied differently. I've passed inspection every year with no problems and have never been pulled over for lights, but other people have had the opposite experience. Charcoal is the most noticeable, so also the most likely to have issues. No one has reported any issues with Gun Smoke or Tint in 8 years of selling the Lamin-X products.
