If im not mistaken, you ship them YOUR seatbelts and they then replace the webbing. So should be an exact replacement.

How do you removed these clips, they look metal to me? is there a specific way to take it off? or do that come loose once you take about the bolt in blue?

You're only doing the fronts? Which plastic panels did you take off?
Mind giving a walk-through? I also have a coupe. This is definitely on my list to do soon.

The front is the same as the soft top but the back is a bit different. You will take out the top two screws behind a little panel and the seat belt clip. (circled red) Then pop the rest of the panel off. it takes a little tugging and as soon as you can disconnect the speaker harness before you break it pulling. The speaker is attached to the panel. Then you will use a t45 to take out the top bolt. Below that is another t45 and I think it was a 10m holding another smaller bolt. There were no metal clips to remove, just lift up and out. I did have an issue getting my ratchet on the bottom t45 so I had to pull the black wire channel lose. Just pull straight up where the bolts are and it will pull lose. Just enough to get a ratchet on there. Once you remove the front belt clip you can just feed it through the panel and pull it out. Red is bolts blue is wires. The other side has an extra wire covered earlier in the thread.

Doing the ZL1 red seat belt upgrade
So I am thinking about unbolting the bolt that attaches the front seat belts to the bracket that goes under the plastic cover on the seats so I don't have to unbolt the front seats to remove the bracket. What do you think?

Why do you need to unbolt the front seat? I would just remove the silver bolt instead. If you drop the seat all the way down you don't have to pull the whole side seat plastic. Once the silver bolt is off you just slide it down and the seat belt just comes off. The more stuff you ship out the more they can lose. I wouldn't leave anything extra on the belt before you ship it.

I got it all done yesterday. I was able to leave the pieces in my front seats and just switch them out by removing the small screw pictured. I love the look and add color inside. Great write up. Thanks

I have an adrenaline red interior. I would be interested in doing the front seats only. Is it much easier and less involved to remove just the front two than the back two?
