Yeah. The Camaros are much closer to the Corvettes than they used to be. The itch to get a Camaro was always strong.. till I saw the 19 SS. Now I think Im going C6 Z06 or C7 Stingray as my next car. With a pipe dream of a C6 ZR1 or C7 Z06. Also keeping my eyes on 16-18 ZL1s.

I've gone back and forth between Corvette and Camaro several times with a Mustang Bullitt stuck in there in 2008. I could easily keep anyone of them as my final hot rod. I'm not sure, even at my age, that this 1le will be my last...I'm just a car guy!

I'd say a C7 Z06 is no longer a pipe dream. You can get a used low mileage 3LZ for $60K-mid $70K these days. And Kerbeck Chevy in AC out here in NJ has 1LT Stingrays for mid to high $40K. So really it comes down to a base Vette or a fully loaded SS...actually the base Vettes are cheaper, lol!! And regardless of performance, a Vette will always stand out and have more allure than a SS. They're well within your reach.

GM has the best performance deals for your money!!

I had a 2010 Grandsport 1LT and it did draw a lot of attention at car shows and on the street. But, it really lacked any creature comforts not even a HUD and I wouldn't buy another Vette without at lease 3LZ. I guess I'm spoiled in my old age, but I like a few of the better things in life. Get a 2SS or at least a 1le.

Def! Its great we have soo many good options. After some more thought I really want a C6 Z06. The real only reason I wanted a C7 was for the looks. They look fantastic.. But a good C6 Z06 is like 35k. Added in it will prob be the last 7 liter GM ever makes. Also a Gen 5 Z/28 is also now on my radar.

There isnt a day I take my C6 out and I dont get looks and comments. C7s look even better so they def draw attention over the Camaros.
