The people that spend the time to do edit videos have amazing patience.....I certainly don't. Race Render seems to to be the best.

Yeah, there's racerender and few others out there. GoPro app allows you to overlay its own GPS information. Beyond that, you can use tools like free version of Resolve for balance.. steep learning curve on that one. or older version of Pinnacle sometimes in $20 range from Amazon.

Even though it's been a year since your post, your interest in enhancing your AIM SOLO data and GoPro Hero 9 videos is still relevant. Your laptop from Costco must have been a valuable addition to your creative toolkit.
For GoPro video editing, using a free movie maker could have been a great option. It offers user-friendly features that can help you create engaging videos with overlays like date, mph, brake, and gas data. Your determination to make the most of your resources, even without PDR, is truly commendable. Keep up the awesome work, and I hope your video editing skills have flourished over the past year! I use Race Render, but there are some limitations.
1. GoPro GPS data is inconsistent if the camera is mounted behind the driver. 2. Synchronizing the video and data from multiple sources is challenging if there isn't a good sync marker. I try to find a brake zone where I'm closely following a car with LED tail lights. You can sync within .1 second with LED lights. 3. If you have multiple AIM cameras (forward view and driver view), the AIM system doesn't always start the cameras synchronized and they need to be adjusted 1-2 seconds. Here is a track video that I overlayed the PDR screen elements on top of a GoPRO video and used the GoPro gps data to make a Racerender track map. It took a long time and there isn't a "template" to do it again. Video
