The only reason I'm doing this is because chazcron said it was okay for people to tweak his render, In no way am I trying to take credit for his awesome work.

But... I did want to show how I think the headlights will be exposed through the fascia. I did this real quick with paint just to get an idea. Its a really small change, but a little more accurate.

You have said that you have seen the C6 front fascia too? The yellow one is sort of reminiscent of the ZL1 in my opinion. Would also look a lot like the current generation C5.

We're missing the LED strip that was shown under one of the camouflaged cars..

Unfortunately these particular possible 2016 headlight do not have any type of halo. It also appears that the LED strip at the bottom is purely a DRL and most likely completely shuts off when the headlights come on.

Most cars don't turn off the LED DRLs when the low beams come on. They just reduce power to them so they are not as bright. My 328i does this.

I think that frosted white "wing" sweeping under the projector lamp will likely light up instead of a halo.

Isn't it time to move on from Halos anyway?

Correct, in most cases. That's how the drls in the 14-15 rs cars work. If you were to look inside one of those headlights, you'd see three wire leading to the circuit board controlling the leds. In this case, the ballast visible is an LED ballast which powers the drl strip. It only functions with a single 12v source and one ground. That doesn't really allow for a switching of the brightness. Now perhaps feeding the 12v terminal with say 6 volts would result in a less bright setting. However if that is the case, it is controlled elsewhere in the car, not in the headlights.

Yep believe my 328i is that way. They are almost bright enough to use as low beams when my headlights are off. Much brighter than the RS halos I've seen.
